My rose bushes are producing lots of flowers this week.

Celebration Time

Over the weekend we celebrated my father-in-law's 80th birthday.  It was a beautiful evening for sitting outside, enjoying some cake and visiting with family and friends.

Nothing more relaxing than sitting by the water enjoying the view.

These are from my mother-in-law's beautiful gardens.

Shoe Tree

For 20 years we have passed this tree on our way to visit my in-laws.  The amount of footwear certainly has increased in those years and is spilling over onto the fence and wires above and even across the road.

Fresh Produce

There is nothing like fresh produce right out of the garden.  For us that means tomatoes, the only vegetable that we grow.

Sunset

We drove around the bay and met some friends for a walk, some ice cream and to watch the sunset over the water. The sky was constantly changing and I wished I had brought the SLR instead of the little P&S.

Flowers

I had an evening to myself the other night so headed down to some public gardens near us to see what was in bloom.  There is always something different.

Gelato....yum!

We discovered this little Gelato shop in the downtown of our city last summer.  So good and so many flavours to choose from.

Hilton Falls

Went for a walk with my hubby and the dog yesterday at Hilton Falls Conservation Area.  It's an easy walk in and with all the recent rain there was a good waterfall.
